Bodek and Rhodes Wins Award, Adds New Training Facility

Bodek and Rhodes (asi/40788) announced a new training program to enhance customer services in a new state-of-the-art facility. The program will focus on customer service, communication and merchandise knowledge.
“Our training… is aimed to create an exceptional customer experience,” says Nadine Flexer, Director of Human Resources. The new training facility uses interactive media and product samples and allows all Bodek and Rhodes employees to provide quality help to customers.

A new team has been developed to run the training program. Alan Cooper joins Bodek and Rhodes as the new Training and Quality Assurance Manager and will supervise classes. Most recently, Cooper trained staff from part-time call reps to high-level management on corporate policy and procedure. He has also worked as a vendor for political campaigns. Nadine Kombé also joins the company team as a Learning and Development Coach after leaving Chrysler Financial.

Bodek and Rhodes was awarded the Best Overall Performance Award from the Premier Promotional Group in May. The Premier Promotional Group based the award on sales reported by supplier members, sales numbers reported by distributor members, and the results of a questionnaire from distributor members. Recently the company developed a new Web site to educate customers about the organic cotton trend. An Organic Apparel selling guide is distributed by the company offering tips on how to promote an organics line to further enhance business.
